An introductory meeting with officials of the Forests & Wildlife Department was convened in the committee room of the Project Director, Upscaling of Green Pakistan Programme – Forestry Component. The meeting was attended by Syed Ali Imran, Conservator of Forests (North) Balochistan; Mr. Muhammad Aslam Buzdar, Chief Conservator of Forests (South) Balochistan; Mr. Sharif Ud Din Baloch, Chief Conservator of Wildlife, Balochistan; and Mr. Masroor Jamal, Chief Conservator of Soil Conservation, Balochistan.
Subsequently, the newly appointed Secretary, Government of Balochistan, Forests & Wildlife Department, was given a comprehensive briefing on the Department’s organizational structure, staffing strength, ongoing development initiatives, and key achievements to date.
The Secretary commended the Department’s accomplishments and directed that the Spring Tree Planting Campaign 2026 be implemented in its true spirit across every part of the province to enhance environmental resilience and combat climate change effectively.
